Who we are
This website is run by ForgeHype website and Management consultancy W.L.L., Building 66, Street 950, Zone 24, Doha, Qatar (“ForgeHype”, “we”). Questions about your data: info@forgehype.qa or WhatsApp +974 7006 9544.
What we collect
- When you book a consultation: your business type and, if you add them, what you are interested in, your website and a note. We save these in our internal secured database, and the form opens WhatsApp with the same details, so that you can communicate with us via email or WhatsApp.
- When you use the free website check or the Growth Score: the link or business name you give us, your WhatsApp number or email, your business type and, for the Growth Score, your answers and score. We save these in our internal secured database to send you the check report or your full Growth Score report.
- When you request a free website audit: your business type, your website address, the WhatsApp number or email you want the report sent to, and what you tell us about your website. We save these in our internal secured database, send you an automatic confirmation by email if you gave one, and use them to prepare your report and a short meeting. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
- When you contact us by WhatsApp, email, phone or Teams: what you send us and your contact details.
- Analytics, only if you accept cookies: how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. We do not use this to identify you.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and arrange your free consultation.
- To prepare proposals and deliver the services you ask for.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To meet our legal and accounting duties in Qatar.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you agree.
Who we share it with
Only the services we use to run the business, and only what they need: WhatsApp (Meta) and Microsoft Teams for messages and calls, our email provider, Google for our secured business records and for analytics if you accept cookies, and GitHub for website hosting. Some of these providers store data outside Qatar. We may also share data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as Qatar law requires.
Cookies
The site uses analytics cookies only after you tap “Accept” on the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time: cookie settings.
Your rights
Under Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Contact us at info@forgehype.qa and we will reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
